Tonight, I decided to make myself a light dinner. I started with a salad with lettuce, arugula, tomatoes, onions, and feta cheese with Virginia Brand Vidalia Onion Vinaigrette. I was pleased to find a block of feta cheese in Shopwise, and even more pleased that it costs only P138 ($3.20 at the current exchange rate).
I followed that up with grilled Swiss brown mushrooms and asparagus (apologies for the quality of the picture and the messy look of the food!). I tossed in some pepper, a bit of butter, a teaspoon of truffle oil, and a teaspoon of Jack Daniel’s Original No. 7 Recipe.
I still have more of the asparagus and mushrooms left, so maybe I can toss in a few extras when I grill them.
