This is turning out to be quite a year for me, food-wise. At the moment, I’m having a pretty major mushroom craving, which I’ve never had because I’ve never been really all that fond of mushrooms, as opposed to Tj who can eat them like nobody’s business. Now all I can think about is finding a good recipe for roasted mushrooms. That’s why finding good-quality mushrooms is on my to-do list for this week.
Edit, June 12: I suppose they were in the regular supermarkets after all, and I just never wandered to that section before. The nearest supermarket here carries Swiss brown mushrooms, portobello, and white button mushrooms, which I am very, very happy about. This Stuffed Swiss Brown Mushrooms recipe looks like a good thing for me to try.
